Welcome back to the new Friday series on the business side of being a creative entrepreneur. Today we cover a topic that I have been resisting almost as long as I’ve been in business: making priorities.
As I stated in yesterday’s post, many of us read to escape. As authors it’s our job to provide that escape to our readers. Many authors get caught up in telling the reader about an experience. But actually what creates the experience of escape is allowing us to feel the story.
Let me ask you something. Why do you read? I read to escape. I have a good life. But when I read and escape I actually find myself again, in a renewed way.
