Do you use mind mapping in your writing? In other areas of your life? I sometimes use mind mapping to explore new projects or gathering everything I think on a new topic. I’ve never used it to plot a novel, though!
Some cool things Tony Buzan says:
- “The mind map is like the Swiss army knife of the brain.”
- “The brain is radiant, it thinks centrally then explodes out in all directions.”
I don’t necessarily agree with him on the assertion that straight lines are boring. I like my lists, and I like my curvilinear associative style of brainstorming.
