If November was a month-long typing party fueled by coffee and desperation to finally hit a NaNoWriMo deadline and word count (50,000), May is a quilting party of piecing this all together.
Going for walks out in nature raises one’s frequency considerably. Walking is a healthy activity, and connecting with nature and with ourselves as we spend time alone on a quiet walk is a great way to get in touch with our creativity.

Taking the Plunge – NaNoWriMo. I’ve made up my mind to participate in this year’s NaNoWriMo, the challenge where hearty and fearless writers commit to writing an entire novel during the month of November.

What do you love most about summertime? Is it the annual vacation to a familiar place or a place brand new? Is it the food – cookouts, crab boils, grilling up a storm? Is it the taste of watermelon, ice cream and popsicles? Maybe it’s having some time to rest, rejuvenate and perhaps even write a little, or (if you’re lucky) a lot.
I’m grateful for the inspiration to create this “prism” character, and I look forward to seeing her become fully-realized. While I’ve written biopics before, I believe this project represents something new for me.
