Social Media Tips for Thursday… As you may or may not know, I’ve been blogging every day since January 1, 2011, and I’ve seen some cool results: * My site traffic has tripled, to nearly 2,000 visitors per month — woohoo! I know other bloggers are seeing higher traffic, but for me, this is awesome, and I celebrate my success! And my numbers keep going up the more time goes by!

BOOK REVIEW: The Mermaid’s Mirror by L. K. Madigan

This young adult novel, for grades 8 and up, is hauntingly beautiful and well told. I really felt like I was in the head and heart of a sixteen-year-old. Lena has always felt drawn to sea around her home just south of San Francisco despite her father’s fears, a former surfer. Strange things start happening, sleep walking at the beach, whispers of voices and dream.
