Don’t get an MFA
Don’t get an MFA. Just write. All an MFA does is prove to yourself that you are committed to your writing. That’s the ultimate experience you want, right? You don’t need an MFA, all those expenses for that. Just write.

I write to know I exist. I write therefore I am. I write to dialogue with myself. I write to integrate the parts within. Writing in my journal is like reporting in from all sides.
Do you you want to write a book, or do you want to tell a story? Each one of these is a different motivating force. Each one not better or worse than the other. Know what motivates you. What motivates you? Having a message or creating a book?
Okay. I’m not a publisher. Who I help are serious, hard working authors (because they love writing). I actually help you get your writing done and out into the world. For one client that meant getting...
