Developing a Deep Listening Writing Practice of Your Own
If you’d like to develop a deep listening practice of your own, here’s some guidelines I recommend:
- Decide for how long you’d like to do your practice.
- How will you show up? By writing? Other?
- Set your focus.
- Be kind if you miss a day.
- Notice the benefits of your practice in your daily life.
If you have questions or want to share about your spiritual writing practice, please do so in the comments below or on Google +.
Beth, I really liked this. We could all do with some deep listening. I was drawn to your comments on structure. The wheels are turning on how I could make the idea work for me. Thanks.
Thanks, Beth. Just thanks for now, while I mull your message.
Thanks, Ien!!!
Can’t wait to see what you uncover for your own structure, Kate!
That was beautiful, Beth. Thank you for sharing this. I just started back to teaching today so it was great to consciously think of writing, of making time for that writing… hmmm… maybe that will be my practice. 🙂
Love that as your practice, Karysa! And thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
Brava Beth for sharing this step on your journey. I love the concept and that one creates the structure that they want. Kind to oneself as well. Lovely!
Thanks so much, Karen!
