A Virginia native, Tracee Lydia Garner is the winner of the BET First Time Writer’s Contest for her story “Family Affairs,” published in the All That & Then Some anthology (2001). Tracee’s fifth novel, Anchored Hearts, was released in March 2015. Tracee teaches novel and romance novel writing at the local college and works for a social services agency. Diagnosed at the age of two years old, Tracee has Muscular Dystrophy and uses a wheelchair.
