On a personal note, Is it really the New Year?

I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t feel the year has really started yet.

2010 isn’t quite finished and 2011 has yet come.

A no man’s land of time, where work needs to get done, and I’m doing it, but some part of me is stuck in the past, or somewhere. But not here.
Or maybe it’s just me.

I still write, run the business, talk to clients. But some part of me just wants to curl up and disappear from the day-to-day realities for at least another week. A few days, even. I’m not going to though; I plow forward — out of necessity. I need to pay the bills, etc. And because I’m driven to write my novel, and take care of clients.
