Epidemic of Kindness

“I call fear an avarice, because if left unchecked, it greedily consumes all your thoughts, the cells in your body, and every particle of your being. It controls your words, and your deeds. In fact, your entire life can be overthrown by fear. Even then it is not enough. It starts to infect others so that it is not just a disease, but an epidemic. So I say, when you feel fear, let it pass through you, but give it no place for refuge. Evict it in all its forms (greed, selfishness, ill-will, despair, lingering sadness). Cleanse your mind with love, joy, compassion, and kindness… yes, be the source for an epidemic of kindness!” – XN
