The Ins + Outs of Cover Design, Latest Issue of the Author Entrepreneurship Magazine
Welcome to the Ins & Outs of Cover Design, our last quarterly issue of the Author Entrepreneurship Magazine.
We’re here to help authors, especially novelists, to have successful and sustainable careers.
Founded by Beth Barany, award-winning novelist, Keynote Speaker, and Author’s Coach.
Learn more about Beth and why she started the magazine here.
If you’re new to our magazine, take a look around. Past issues are here: http://authorentrepreneurship.
Our book covers are one of the most important marketing tools as authors.
As an independently published author, I’m curious how to create the best cover possible, so I got some of my friends and loved ones to chime in and lend us their wisdom. Our lead article is by Ezra Barany, my husband, my cover designer, and this magazine’s cover designer.
After reading this issue, let us know your thoughts on cover design and discuss any questions you have on our Facebook group or comment on the articles online.
Thanks, and enjoy our Spring 2015 issue!
Best,
Beth Barany

Our Writer’s Guidelines have changed!
If you want to write for us, read our guidelines here and send in your query.
I’ve made the executive decision to end the quarterly magazine format with the coming issue. We will be changing formats to Q&As with author entrepreneurs, specifically novelists who help other novelists with services such as coaching, design, editing, etc. If you’d like to be considered for an interview, read the guidelines and tell me why.
I hope you enjoy learning from our peers in these articles.
Stop by and comment and ask questions!

Get started with my article on the most important aspect you’ll ever need to know about cover design. The cover must portray a promise of the experience the readers can expect to have. My wonderful wife, Beth Barany, said that to me years ago and I never forgot it.
