Let&#8217;s examine where To promote your free kindle book on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Since I always learn by doing, I usually do everything backwards until I figure out how to proceed in a more logical calm manner. The first time I used Kindle Select to make my self-coaching guide for authors, <em><a title=\"The Writer's Adventure Guide: 12 Stages to Writing Your Book by Beth Barany\" href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/WAGonKindle\" target=\"_blank\">The Writer&#8217;s Adventure Guide<\/a><\/em>, free, I just made it free and then promoted, late in the day.<\/p>\n<p>Now I set the free dates about a week away and get rolling on my promotions.<\/p>\n<p>I let my list know. You do have a newsletter, I hope. I use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.GetResponse.com\" target=\"_blank\">GetResponse.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>On the day of the promotion, I let my Facebook groups know. If you&#8217;re not on genre-specific reader groups I highly recommend it. Since I write YA fantasy, I belong to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/339731909394493\/\" target=\"_blank\">Young Adults and Children Promotional Group for Authors<\/a>, among many others. How to use Facebook Groups to grow your fan base and promote your books is the subject of a future blog post.<\/p>\n<p>I also post on my Facebook <a title=\"Beth Barany's Facebook Profile page\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bethbarany\" target=\"_blank\">profile page<\/a>, <a title=\"Beth Barany, Author\/Speaker\/Creativity Coach for Writers, Page on Facebook\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/BethBookCoach\" target=\"_blank\">Fan Page<\/a>, and to <a title=\"Author\/Speaker\/Creativity Coach for Writers, Beth Barany on Twitter\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/Beth_Barany\" target=\"_blank\">Twitter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I did a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.goodreads.com\/event\/show\/234524-amazon-kindle-giveaway-for-the-writer-s-adventure-guide\" target=\"_blank\">Goodreads event for the Kindle giveaway<\/a>, and let a bunch of Twitter accounts know.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve listed the ones I&#8217;ve researched and will be contacting to ask them to mention my book to their followers. I don&#8217;t vouch for the quality, though picked ones that have a big reach.
