Enjoy her counting poem!<\/em><\/p>\n

Counting<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 <\/strong>is solo and rather indifferent to the emotional displays of the others<\/p>\n

2<\/strong> is gregarious and actually quite adorable, everything turns out so well with 2<\/p>\n

3<\/strong> is innocent and easily led<\/p>\n

4<\/strong> loves \u00a0five with a sad unrequited resignation. She resents six<\/p>\n

5<\/strong> is the all around, frat president. He travels confidently in the middle of the pack<\/p>\n

6<\/strong> is jealous of both five and seven; like a middle child without the looks.<\/p>\n

7 <\/strong>is a cheerleader and understands the pain of 6 but doesn\u2019t really help out much<\/p>\n

8<\/strong> is bossy and so resentful of 9 that she takes it out on other numbers, particularly 3<\/p>\n

9<\/strong> is perfect because everything he does \u2013 leads back to him.\u00a0 He\u2019s not as big as<\/p>\n

10<\/strong> but what can you do?<\/p>\n

with all this passion and infighting<\/p>\n

wrought by adding, subtracting<\/p>\n

multiplying these numbers.<\/p>\n

the intrigue, the unintended consequences<\/p>\n

the resentments during long division<\/p>\n

is it any wonder that all hell broke loose<\/p>\n

when letters were introduced?<\/p>\n

who is X and who is Y?<\/p>\n

what do they want?<\/p>\n

why must they change everything?<\/p>\n

so nothing adds up?<\/p>\n

to escape these unintended consequences<\/p>\n

I studied literature.<\/p>\n
