I&#8217;d love to know what you think! Did I leave any out?! <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>What would you add to this list?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Before I go there, I just wanted to say that I do value softness and vulnerability in women and girls. I guess, though, I&#8217;m rallying against helplessness.<\/p>\n<p>I believe we are all resourceful, and sometimes asking for help is the most resourceful, brave and courageous thing we can do.<\/p>\n<p><strong>More Characteristics of a Kick Ass Heroine <\/strong><a title=\"Characteristics of a Kick Ass Heroine by Beth Barany at the Writer's Fun Zone\" href=\"https:\/\/writersfunzone.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/09\/characteristics-of-a-kick-ass-heroine-archetype\/\" target=\"_self\">(other characteristics mentioned here)<\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Can rally her friends behind a cause<\/li>\n<li>Is brave enough to ask for help<\/li>\n<li>Stands up and speaks out against injustice<\/li>\n<li>Helps those in need<\/li>\n<li>Isn&#8217;t afraid to do what it takes even if what it takes is a stretch, new, or scary, especially if it&#8217;s scary<\/li>\n<li>Faces her fears<\/li>\n<li>Honest to at least herself<\/li>\n<li>Searches for the truth to best of her abilities<\/li>\n<li>Owns up to her mistakes<\/li>\n<li>Works hard to cultivate and maintain her abilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><strong>What do you think? <\/strong><\/span>Are there more you&#8217;d add?
