I&#8217;m suggesting that you share a little bit of what makes you <em>you<\/em>! If I tell you that I went to my cardio kickboxing class today that tells you something about me (No, I didn&#8217;t go today&#8230; but I&#8217;ve gone in the past!) AND what I share with you is in line with my overall presence or brand online: that of someone who empowers herself and others to have the lives we want!<\/p>\n<p><strong>The How of Sharing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some tips on how to share in the social media space:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Keep your share short.<\/li>\n<li>Make it a story.<\/li>\n<li>Bring in humor.<\/li>\n<li>Share a favorite hobby, music, movie, book, activity, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle your personal shares in between <a title=\"Social Media Tips for Authors from Beth Barany, #8 Reciprocate\" href=\"https:\/\/writersfunzone.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/03\/social-media-tip-for-authors-8\/\" target=\"_blank\">reciprocating<\/a> and <a title=\"Social Media Tips for Authors from Beth Barany, #7 Listen\" href=\"https:\/\/writersfunzone.com\/blog\/2011\/03\/15\/social-media-tip-for-authors-7-listen\/\" target=\"_blank\">listening<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Above all, <a title=\"Social Media Tips for Authors from Beth Barany, #9 Have Fun!\" href=\"https:\/\/writersfunzone.com\/blog\/2011\/02\/17\/social-networking-tips-9-have-fun\/\" target=\"_blank\">have fun!<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Your Intention<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>What is your intention when you approach social media? If it is to share, support, help and learn, that will shine through even if your efforts feel awkward or even appear awkward. Our intentions shine through our actions, I believe.
