Why do I like workbooks?<\/h2>\n

Why do I like workbooks? Hmm\u2026 well\u2026 okay here it goes:<\/p>\n

There are workbooks for learning or gathering pertinent information. Planners for meals, parties, or logbooks for tracking lists whether its groceries, gift giving or budgeting.<\/p>\n

There are coloring books to relax.<\/strong> Diaries and journals to log who you are, your history, or the things that make you happy or sad. Tracking workbooks for diet and exercise, logging inventory or miles, breaking bad habits or starting good habits.<\/p>\n

There are journals with a prompt or two, or to hunker down with a blank journal and make your own workbook.<\/p>\n

Use it in bed, sit outside by the pool, sit in a coffee shop\u2026 feels like this should be in poem form\u2014\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

I like my workbook and they like me
\nTake it to the pool
\nWrite something cool
\nIn a coffee shop sitting on a stool
\nSipping my brew
\nUse a pen
\nUse a pencil
\nMy imagination is fueled
\nWrite a plot
\nWrite a scene
\nWorking with my muse
\nMy characters have come unglued
\nFondue at the zoo!
\nWorkbooks in school
\nLearn something new
\nMake a list
\nRecipes for the barbecue\u2026<\/p>\n

Okay, okay, I\u2019m losing it here so let\u2019s leave the poem writing to the professionals.<\/p>\n

Whether it\u2019s for fun or practicality, there\u2019s a workbook out there waiting to become a part of you.<\/p>\n

There was the pros — what about the cons?<\/h2>\n

However, if I come up with pros, there\u2019s gotta be some cons, reasons why workbooks don\u2019t work. I think it\u2019s an individual preference, but here\u2019s some cons against using a workbook:<\/p>\n
