A Virginia native, Tracee Lydia Garner<\/a> is the winner of the BET First Time Writer\u2019s Contest<\/strong> for her story “Family Affairs,” published in the All That & Then Some <\/em><\/a>anthology (2001). Tracee\u2019s fifth novel, Anchored Hearts<\/a><\/em>, was released in March 2015. Tracee teaches novel and romance novel writing at the local college and works for a social services agency. Diagnosed at the age of two years old, Tracee has Muscular Dystrophy and uses a wheelchair.<\/p>\n
